- Provide direction and give policy advice to the COA GFP Chairperson to support and strengthen the GFP System and the GAD mainstreaming activities of this Commission
- Direct the identification of GAD strategies and PP As based on the results of the gender audit and gender analysis in response to the gender issues faced by the women and men of this Commission
- Ensure the timely submission of the COA GAD Plan and Budget, Accomplishment Report and other GAD-related reports to the PCW and the Department of Budget and Management
- Ensure the effective and efficient implementation of the COA PPAs and the judicious utilization of the COA GAD Budget
- Build and strengthen the partnership of COA with PCW, GAD experts, advocates, women’s groups and other stakeholders in pursuit of gender mainstreaming
- Recommend approval of the COA GAD Plan and Budget, and Accomplishment Report
- Recommend awards or recognition to outstanding COA GAD advocates or PP As to the Chairperson of the COA GFP System, through the COA PRAISE Committee
- Oversee the performance review of the implementation of the PP As and recommend amendatory policies, if necessary, to enhance COA GAD mainstreaming
