The Commission on Audit is committed to recognize creativity, innovation, efficiency, productivity, courage, and selflessness of its people in the public service. This led to the adoption of COA Resolution No. 2002-007 dated October 3, 2002 establishing the COA Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE).
Years after, the Commission expanded the coverage of its PRAISE through the issuance of COA Resolution No. 2017-008 dated May 18, 2017 which aims to promote uniformity and consistency in the implementation of the awards and incentives program pursuant pertinent provisions of Executive Order No. 292 and Republic Act No. 6713.
On the basis of the above issuances, the COA continuously holds an annual awarding ceremony dubbed as “COA Salutes the Best” which traditionally coincides with COA Anniversary every month of May.
The PRAISE Committee leads the implementation and is administratively supported by the Human Resource Management Office, Administration Sector.
